Fabrication Sevices
A Rofin Laser demonstrates Laser Welding of Aluminum with the benefits of pulse to pulse repeatability and a consistent and constant penetration of reflective materials such as Aluminum.
IMS provides a broad range of custom fabrication capabilities by combining- the most advanced equipment/technology together with- the most current CAD/CAM updates, new software and 3D modeling resulting in fast, consistent and cost effective fabrication processing. This integration of our equipment capabilities with the latest new advances allows us to offer ever-expanding new applications that reduce steps which saves you time and money.

From traditional to high-tech, from prototypes to complex component assemblies, IMS capabilities encompass:
- Laser applications
- Tube/Pipe Bending
- Punching
- Stamping
- Hardware insertion
- Deburring
- Roll Forming
- Plate Shearing

Lasers
New advances with Lasers are continuously creating new applications. Our 21 available Laser systems include: solid state, sheet, plasma, tube, ND Yag and CO2 lasers, many of them being multi-axis lasers. Typical Laser applications consist of cutting, welding, marking, structuring and engraving. For more on IMS Laser Systems visit our Laser page. (Link to Laser Page)
Welding
Besides Laser welding, IMS uses conventional MIG, TIG and Pulse welding systems. Also available is a Panasonic robotic MIG welding system with a 48″ x 20″ swing and a 500 lb weight capacity along with a 5 ton Gantry (weld department) and 1 ton Gantry weld cell. Our welders are certified and members of the American Welding Society.
CNC Press Brakes
Large inventory of Press Brakes and CNC roll forming including five 90 ton 6 axis CNC Backgage, as well as 135 ton and 230 ton 6 axis CNC Backgage and a 60 ton 4 axis Backgage system. Cincinnati American style press brakes and Trumpf press brakes European style.
